UTFSCOE Scientists Receive Award from the United States Food and Drug Administration
KNOXVILLE, August 14, 2003 — Dr. Stephen P. Oliver, Co-Director of the UT Food Safety Center of Excellence and professor in the Department of Animal Science, Dr. Alan Mathew, professor and Head of the Department of Animal Science and member of the UT Food Safety Center of Excellence and Dr. Fred Hopkins of the UT College of Veterinary Medicine received the 2003 United States Food and Drug Administration’s Group Recognition Award as members of the Tissue Residues & Strategies for Case Development Organization and Training Team.
