Currently am on an externally funded interdisciplinary project to examine decision making by supermarket retailers regarding irradiated red meat products (USDA National Research Initiative-$110,000)
Served as a Vice President and Board member for the Southern Agricultural Economics Association
Served as Co-Chair of Selected Papers, American Agricultural Economics Association
Currently working on a web-based graduate course in Advanced Agribusiness Marketing and have authored agribusiness case studies for the Internet (past funding by USDA Higher Education Challenge Grants)
Recipient of 3 USDA National Research Initiative Grants and have served in three symposia coordinated by the Markets and Trade Program Manager on how to write successful NRI proposals.
