A new plant biotech building is under construction at the Institute of Agriculture, which is also pioneering in animal cloning . Institute resources include the Racheff Chair of Excellence in Plant Molecular Genetics and biotechnology resources in Departments of Animal Science, Biosystems Engineering and Environmental Sciences, Plant Sciences & Landscape Systems, Entomology and Plant Pathology, Food Science and Technology, Human Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries, and Agricultural Economics. Universitywide Resources Include: Center of Excellence in Environmental Biotechnology Food Safety Center of Excellence Center of Excellence in Structural Biology Center of Excellence in Genomics and Bioinformatics Center of Excellence for Information Technology |
